Claims Service
Nigel Edwards, Coleman's Claims Manager provides an insight into the valuable service his claims team provides. The claim is, after all, the 'proof of the pudding'. It is then that the quality of your insurance cover and service provided by your broker and insurer are put to the test.
With 32 years in the insurance industry including 20 years with Coleman, Nigel has developed an extensive knowledge of claims handling and a wide network of contacts from Loss Adjusters to Repairers.
He sums up the Coleman approach in terms of the claims service we aim to give our clients:-

We know how vital it is to listen and to gather the crucial information to relay to their insurer. We like to think that we're 'holding our client's hand' through the claims process knowing all the while how vital is it to help minimise the impact the claim might have on their business.
We know how important it is to be on site to represent some of our major clients in the aftermath of a large claim and will attend site meetings with the client and Loss Adjuster. Coleman has the respect of many Insurers and Loss Adjusters- this helps us during some of the complex negotiations that might follow.
Conducting the negotiation of the claim 'in house' means we have more control over the destiny of the claim. Regular meetings with our client help us work towards an early and satisfactory settlement."
